These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Crossy iOS application ("Crossy"). By downloading, installing, or using Crossy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. About Crossy
Crossy is a crossword app for iPhone and iPad. It stores your puzzle progress and app preferences locally on your device.
2. License and Use
- We grant you a personal, limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use Crossy on Apple‑branded devices that you own or control and as permitted by the App Store Terms.
- You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive source code from the app except as permitted by applicable law.
- You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
3. Intellectual Property
Crossy, including its name, user interface, graphics, and all related content (excluding any content you lawfully provide on your device), is protected by intellectual property laws. All rights are reserved by the app's developer.
4. Privacy
Your use of Crossy is subject to our Privacy Policy. In short, Crossy does not create accounts, and your crossword data is stored locally on your device. We do not use advertising or third‑party analytics SDKs.
5. App Updates and Changes
We may update or change the app from time to time (e.g., to improve performance, add features, or address bugs). We are not obligated to maintain any particular feature or content.
6. Support
Support is provided on a best‑effort basis. You can reach us via the Support link on the Crossy App Store page.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
9. Termination
You may stop using Crossy at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or used the app unlawfully.
10. Third‑Party Terms
If you downloaded Crossy from Apple's App Store, your use of the app is also governed by the Apple Media Services/Standard EULA. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, the EULA may apply to the extent required by Apple policies.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted to this page. Please review periodically.
